As the name suggests, Splash is designed exclusively for building single webpages which require no form of navigation and the bare-minimum of components. Splash has support for full-screen FreeStyle background images, slideshows or video. Many useful settings are provided to customise the complete style and behaviour of your completed page.You really can let your creativity flow with Splash and build some highly inspirational page designs. Although lots of blank canvas solutions already exist for RapidWeaver, many of these are expensive and too complicated for the simple task of building single splash landing pages. Big backgrounds
The background region in Splash is formed of an empty ExtraContent container (extra content 1) and a FreeStyle banner. Therefore placing any image in ExtraContent 1 or the FreeStyle container will result in it getting stretched to fill the entire page background. This provides a wonderfully simple and efficient way to get fullscreen background images embedded into the page. Repeat the same procedure for compatible slideshows or HTML5 video. Splash includes a free copy of the FreeStyle stack (normally this retails for £10) making the setup of custom background even easier, via the Stacks plugin (not included).Includes Twitter Bootstrap

Yes you read that correctly! Splash has support for video backgrounds. To get this working, simply drag and drop a uTubeFill stack into your page. This nifty little free stack element will scoot-off to YouTube, grab any public video via its ID and embed it on your page background as a beautiful, responsive, instantly-playing video. The method used works reliably in all newer web browsers, and safely degrades back to a static FreeStyle image on devices without YouTube or auto-play support. All websites, regardless of topic or size, need a footer. The footer is used to display important copyright and legal information, and can also include an obfuscated email link. In respect of this requirement, Splash continues to display a small footer. You enter your footer content in the RapidWeaver Site Setup window or the Page Inspector. Theme style settings are provided, allowing you to display your footer text at the top or bottom of the page, either aligned left, centred or right.Social bar
Like many other ThemeFlood themes, Splash includes support for a 'social bar'. This is basically an extra content container (extra content 2) which is supplied with numerous colour and positioning settings. Once activated, the social bar provides a convenient place to display social networking or social bookmarking links. These links can either be formed of plain text links or can be configured as Font Awesome Icons. Now users to your website will have an easy and prominent way to share it with others. Here are a few additional notes to consider before buying or using Splash…- You should continue to provide a site title and slogan when using Splash. Although these will not be displayed on the page, they will still get placed in the page source code and used by search engines indexing the page. This can greatly improve SEO.
- This RapidWeaver theme has no page navigation links. However you can still manually create links or buttons yourself onto other pages or websites.
- Although there is a sidebar container written into the source code of pages built using Splash, this sidebar will be hidden from view. Bare this in mind, if using plugins that depend on a sidebar to display content (like a blog).
- To embed a YouTube video onto the background, it's recommended you use the free uTubeFill stack. This is a stack element, and therefore requires the Stacks plugin by YourHead Software. The stacks plugin is not included with the purchase of this theme, and therefore you will need to buy Stacks if you don't already have it.
